PDC bit is a drilling tool commonly used in the geological drilling industry.
According to different manufacturing materials, pdc bits can be divided into carcass bits and steel body bits. The body bit body is sintered from cast tungsten carbide, and the steel body bit is milled from steel.
From the use, there are three kinds of coal field drilling, geological exploration, oil drilling. Can also be divided into core and non-core; from the material there are rigid body drill bits and sintered drill bits. The largest amount is the anchor bit, and the price is also the cheapest.
Because the diamond conforms to the drill bit, it has the characteristics of fast speed, more footage, long life, stable operation, less downhole accidents, low cost, wide range of application, etc., and has been unanimously praised by people in the industry. Generally, there are three main uses of diamond composite drill bits:
1. Geological exploration. Diamond drill bits are suitable for soft to medium hard rock formations. Now some new composites developed by some manufacturers can be applied to rock formations of ten hardness, so they are widely used in geological exploration.
2. Drilling and mining in coal fields. Diamond bits are mainly used for drilling and mining in coal seams above coal mines. Generally speaking, the rock formations in coal fields are relatively soft, and composite drill bits are widely used, such as PDC bolt drill bits and concave three-wing drill bits.
3.Petroleum exploration. Diamond bits are mainly used for drilling in oil and gas fields. At present, the composite sheet bits used in oil fields are the ones with higher cost and higher requirements in all composite sheet bits.
